being ignorant of one's projections seems to compound the sin itself, yet it's also a kind of pity that ought to warrant sympathy

Thank you for reading, I really appreciate it.

I like that idea of a compound sin. A sin so self inflicted that its recursive. Gets bigger by diminishing you.

"How irrational am I, really? Could I also be guilty of my own mental gymnastics, bending logic to fit my narratives? Even though I am not the sort to leave unhinged comments on the internet, I cannot help but feel I should be more diligent in catching my own internal inconsistencies. "

......

I feel this is a type of "PTSD" (for lack of better term) that becomes developed through introspection and self-reflection. Where does the rubber meet the road though, so to speak? This is something that I always consider for myself regarding the awareness of the issues (socially, culturally) and how best to approach this with the "ideal" in mind....while accepting the gap that exists between "here" and "there?"

.......

"But perhaps we owe it to ourselves to examine these obsessions. To understand why we latch onto them and why we let them consume us." There is very little motion, if any at all, within the mainstream narrative towards people-generated solutions. It doesn't matter what is presented before the mind's eye: we, being imaginative and creative beings as a birthright, will project our awareness onto whatever it is we see. In a bizarre way, these types of expressions are oracular- shedding light on the conditioning of the psyche. We read these people's comments in one place, but where do they go next? Anywhere a person turns within the mainstream is the opportunity to feel resentment; relationships, even, seem to be structured not upon common interests but common resentments.

......

"But perhaps we owe it to ourselves to examine these obsessions. To understand why we latch onto them and why we let them consume us." -this is a great statement; "obsession," "latch," "consume us." All addiction, all reactions to impulse.....what does it look like to be living in a relationship with humanity which is not latched to, but held; not consuming us, but creating us- and allowing for us to create?

Thank you for your extended analysis of my humble little piece.

Not to get to esoteric, but we probably need to go to a place where we stop wearing our opinions as personality. Even when we are right, we crusade. Even if online, because is so convenient, we crusade. This obsession, even if righteous, might be more nefarious than we think.

Also, thank you for taking the time for reading, I appreciate it!

Ooof we really have created a hell. I think you're right - the phrase "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" was not enough. We need to be studying philosophy.

That is so true! We are way beyond "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all".

I wonder if we will get out of the hell in our lifetime...

Yeah, and we all think we are right, so we scream. We all do it to a degree, even if some are crazier than others. haha

Thanks for reading, I appreciate it.
